Managing Scientist
Bill founded e4sciences|Earthworks in 1998 after sixteen years as a manager and petrophysicist at Schlumberger Oilfield Services. Bill has over a hundred publications and seven patents in these fields. He received a PhD in geophysics (1982), a MS in environmental fluid mechanics (1982) from Stanford University, and a BA in geology (1973) from Williams College. Bill was a research fellow at Duke University from 2005 to 2007 and is currently an institute fellow at the University of Auckland.
Matt Art
Director of Logistics and Marketing
Matt manages accounts and projects, and is the safety officer. He has seven years experience and directed operations and logistics for live nationally televised events for five years. Matt has several publications and holds a BA in geology from Williams College.
A. Beckett Boyd
Director of Office Operations and Digital Cartography
Beckett processes all sonar data and produces all of the maps. She has several publications. Beckett worked for ten years as a field engineer and an interpreter at Schlumberger Oilfield Services. She worked for two years as a consultant at Offsets Group in Abu Dhabi. Beckett holds a BA from Barnard College in Archeology and BA from Henry Krumb School of Mines in mining engineering, both at Columbia University.

Director of Field Operations and Product Design
Will is responsible for the data acquisition and the chain of custody. He has five years experience and is the author of several publications. Will holds a BA in history from Columbia College at Columbia University, where he was cocaptain of the intercollegiate soccer team.
Daniel Rosales-R
Director of Geophysical Processing and International Business
Daniel is a world expert in the migration of wave fields. He has ten years experience and several publications.Daniel holds a B.A. from Simon Bolivar University in Caracas, and an MS and PhD in Geophysics from Stanford University.
Richard Nolen-Hoeksema
Chief Geotechnical Scientist
Richard produces maps and analyses for geotechnical and infrastructural engineering projects. He has held research positions and taught at Stanford University and University of Michigan. Richard has 20 years of experience and over 20 publications, He holds a B.A. from Hope College, a M.Phil, MS, and a PhD in geophysics from Yale University.
Ian Tetrault
Chief Animator
Ian produces all our animations and supports all computer graphics. He has over 15 years experience in computer animation. Ian holds a BA from Rhode Island School of Design.
W. Bruce Ward
Chief Geologist
Bruce produces stratigraphy, mapping, cross sections, and multisensor integration. He has over 20 years experience and 50 publications. Bruce was a research fellow at the Bureau of Economic Geology at the University of Texas and a consultant to Schlumberger. He holds a BA in geology from Franklin-Marshall College, and an MS and PhD in geology from Stony Brook University.
